Abstract:
Napa County Viewshed Roads per the Viewshed Protection Ordinance.

Purpose:
To preserve the unique scenic quality of Napa County, the Board of Supervisors passed an innovative Viewshed Protection Ordinance in Dec 2001.

Supplemental information:
The ordinance sets forth hillside development standards to minimize the impact man-made structures and grading on views of existing landscapes and open spaces as seen from deignated public roads within the County.
