Airport Land Use Commission Zones around Parrett Field and Angwin Airport.
To display ALUC zones in evaluating land use plans and proposed development in the vicinity of the public-use airports located within Napa County. The primary function of the Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan is to provide guidance to the Airport Land Use Commission in reviewing the land use plans and zoning regulations of the affected local jurisdictions to ensure that future development in the airports' environs is compatible with airport activities.
The Airport Land Use Commission (ALUC) was established in 1971 and mandates the establishment of an airport land use commission by counties with an airport served by a scheduled airline. The purpose of the ALUC is to provide for the orderly development of areas surrounding public airports in the County. It is also intended to minimize the public's exposure to excessive noise and safety hazards and to ensure that the approaches to public airports are kept clear of structures that could pose an aviation safety hazard.

Napa County Public Works provided the CAD file from on-screen digitizing. Incorporated a Napa ALUC CAD file that was received from Shutt Moen Associates
Incorporated a Parrett Field ALUC CAD file into GIS, received from Dennis in Public Works. Separated file out into 2 layers: dimensions (includes the runway), & compatibility zones.
