Data format: SDE Raster Dataset

File or table name: elev_02_400

Theme keywords: elevation, imageryBaseMapsEarthCover

Abstract: Elevation grid of the Napa County Non Watershed Area. The DTM is based on imagery acquired on April 22 & 23, 2002. The Vertical coordinate system is: North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Altitude resolution 1.000000. Altitude distance units is feet.

FGDC and ESRI Metadata:

Metadata elements shown with blue text are defined in the Federal Geographic Data Committee's (FGDC) Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM). Elements shown with green text are defined in the ESRI Profile of the CSDGM. Elements shown with a green asterisk (*) will be automatically updated by ArcCatalog. ArcCatalog adds hints indicating which FGDC elements are mandatory; these are shown with gray text.

Description:
Abstract:
Elevation grid of the Napa County Non Watershed Area. The DTM is based on imagery acquired on April 22 & 23, 2002. The Vertical coordinate system is: North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Altitude resolution 1.000000. Altitude distance units is feet.

Purpose:
To show elevation of the Non Watershed area of Napa County

Supplemental information:
The area covered by this data is referred to as the Watershed Area because it encompasses the Napa River Watershed. This is roughly the western half of the county.

Data Quality Information:

Lineage:
Process step:
Process description:
This layer was created by building a TIN model using the mass point and breakline shapefiles with 3D Analyst. The TIN was then exported to ESRI grid format using ArcToolBox and linear interpolation.
A 10 foot cell size was used for this layer.

Process date: 20040127

Process step:
Process description:
Converted download file to a file geodatabase containing a raster instead of an .e00 export file.
